CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT
1. Course fees must be paid in full before the start date. Confirmation letters can only be issued on receipt of full payment.

2. Add £20 registration fee to the course fee.

3. Students must be 18 years of age and over.

4. Course dates may not be changed once a booking has been confirmed.

5. Students studying for 12 weeks or more have a holiday entitlement, which varies according to course length. This quota may be taken at any time during the course, provided that the college is informed 1 week in advance. If 1 week’s notice is not given this holiday entitlement will not apply.

6. There is no reduction in fees when a course includes a Public Holiday.

7. Registration fees are non-refundable.

8. Course fees are non-refundable, except in the case of visa refusal by the Home office / UKBA or British Embassy, proof of which must be provided, A Pro rata deduction plus an admin charge of £150 will be deducted from the fees paid. This will only apply if the school is informed about such a case before the course start date. Then the following documents must be provided:
  • The original letter of refusal from the British Authorities
  • The original letter of acceptance from the college
  • The original receipt from the college for fees paid


9. Evening Classes are not considered full-time in accordance with Immigration rules; hence there is no visa assistance for students studying at this time.

10. Courses may not be extended by paying additional fees.

11. Students are expected to attend classes regularly. Students who fail to start on the agreed start date,attend as required, or leave prior to completion will be struck off the college register, and no refund will apply.

12. Students who are more than 20 minutes late for class will be marked absent, or may not be allowed to attend the class on that day.

13. In the case of sickness students will be shown as being active on the course only if a suitable medical certification is provided.

14. Smoking, eating and drinking are strictly prohibited in the classrooms.Victoria English College is designated as a non-smoking zone in line with government legislation.

15. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may lead to students being struck off the college register and no refund will apply.

16. Fees include: Lessons as booked, certificates and all normal school services. Fees do not include: accommodation, external examination fees, course books, travel expenses or social programmes.

17. Students are required to buy their own course books.

18. Tutors and times may be changed at any time at the College’s discretion. Victoria English College reserves the right to change course prices at any time (applies to new bookings).

ACCOMMODATION

1. Victoria English College assists students to find accommodation.

2. The ccommodation reservation fee of £50 must be paid at the time of reservation (minimum stay of 4 weeks) – accommodation cannot be reserved without this payment. This is strictly non refundable and non transferable.

3. Accommodation fees and the deposit are valid only for the person and dates specified. Any changes in accommodation bookings must be notified in writing at least 4 weeks before the original arrival date. Changes made with less than 4 weeks to go will require a second deposit to be paid, as this involves a fresh booking by the college.
